Michelle Mendez is a senior and a writer for this year’s newspaper team! In her free time, she loves to read, write, watch TV and hang out with friends. She is a huge fan of superheroes and loves anything related to Marvel or DC. Her favorite books are IT, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, and Eleanor & Park. She’s a sucker for coming of age movies such as The Edge Of Seventeen and Dazed and Confused. Writing is a huge part of her life, as it’s an escape from reality for her. She loves writing songs, short stories and even essays. While she may love to write in her spare time, she would love to major in business and attend UTD after high school. Her goal this year is to capture the joyous moments of what it is to be a PESH student and share them with her peers through the school newspaper. She wishes you all a fantastic school year.
