Katie is a junior at Plano East High School. This is her first year in newspaper, and she is thrilled to be joining such an amazing community. She enjoys watching movies—especially Marvel films—drawing, arts and crafts, binge-watching shows, reading (a lot), and spending time with her sassy cat. She looks forward to writing about topics she’s passionate about and using her passion to connect with others. Katie’s goal is to grow as both a writer and a person throughout the year. Shes very excited for everything the 2025–2026 newspaper year has in store!
