Pacers v Knicks

The Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks 106-99 to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Pacers will face the Miami Heat, the heavy favorite to repeat. The Pacers are without star small forward Danny Granger, who from 2006 to 2012 averaged 20.4 points per game. Luckily for the Pacers, the team finished second overall in the NBA in points allowed. Another interesting factor in this series will be rebounding; the Heat finished dead last in the NBA in rebounding per game while the Pacers finished first. The Pacers finished the regular season ranked second in points allowed while the Heat finished fifth in both points per game and points allowed. In the three games played between these two teams in the regular season, the Pacers took two of the three games from the Heat. In those three games, the home team was victorious every single time. It will be interesting to see who wins this series and moves on to the NBA Finals.
