The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim lost a three-game series to the Texas Rangers, losing in the final game of the series, 7-3. In Josh Hamilton’s first series back to Arlington since he bolted for the Angels last December, he went an abysmal 3-for-13 when batting. Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish struggled early, but the Rangers’ offense was able to overcome the three runs that Darvish allowed. Darvish, coming off his almost perfect game against the Houston Astros, was able to get out of the third inning without allowing a run, after there were runners at second base and third base with no outs. Hamilton was unimpressive in his first games back at The Ballpark in Arlington, the place where he has hit many homeruns and RBI. Behind the bats of Nelson Cruz, Adrian Beltre, Ian Kinsler, Elvis Andrus, and Lance Berkman, the Rangers were able to win two out of the three games at home. Many experts predicted the Angels would win the division and even the World Series. The Angels are 2-4, while the Rangers are currently 4-2.
