Final Four Set

The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament has weeded out 64 teams and only the final four are left. Louisville, Michigan, Syracuse and Wichita State are the last teams remaining in the tournament. The Cinderella team of this year’s tournament is ninth-seeded Wichita State, a relatively small school out of Kansas, who knocked off the number one, two and the 13-seeded team in its region. The Shockers advanced and will play overall number-one seed Louisville. On the other side of the bracket, Michigan knocked off Florida and advanced to play Syracuse. Both teams are three-seeds in the tournament. The Final Four is perennially one of the most watched sports events. In Women’s College Basketball, overall one-seed Baylor lost to fifth-seed Louisville, 82-81. It was the last game for Baylor star center Brittney Griner, who is as tall as LeBron James. Louisville tied a tournament record with 16 three-pointers made. Griner finishes second on the all-time leading scorers for women behind former Missouri Tiger Jackie Stiles.
