Ryan Rettke is a junior who started playing baseball since he was four. That early start helped Rettke, who plays both second base and shortstop for the varsity baseball team. Ryan also cites the bond between the teammates as “the tightest bond I’ve ever been apart of.” According to Ryan, tryouts are Jan. 25-26, and although Rettke practically has it made, he still looks forward to the opportunity to show his raw talent. The coaches of the baseball team have taught Ryan “so much throughout the years.” He likes all three of the coaches and says about them, “they are great mentors.” Rettke says, “someone who can teach you a lot and can be there when you are in need of advice,” is what Rettke says makes a good coach.
