Aamna Umer is a senior at Pesh. She is excited for her first year in the newspaper, being able to portray her love for writing. For her goals of the year, she wishes that her writing and her work is able to reach students, and be able to serve as their voice as well as staying on top of her academic responsibilities, maintaining a healthy balance between school and personal life, and stepping outside of her comfort zone. In Newspaper, she hopes to grow as a writer, learn the behind-the-scenes process of publication, and contribute meaningful stories to the school community. Outside of class, Aamna enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and discovering new music. She’s looking forward to a great year and can’t wait to see what the Newspaper team creates!
