Baseball team loses last game of a long season

The baseball team played its last game on Friday night against Plano Senior High, with a chance to eliminate the Wildcats from playoff contention. Despite allowing four runs, the Panthers only scored two. With the loss, the Panthers ended the season losing nine games in a row and a 2-12 record in district play. As for Plano, they will be advancing to the playoffs to play Southlake Carroll.  

Junior Chase Cotton was a standout performer on Friday night, with one hit and one of the Panther’s two runs batted in. Junior Jonathan Mcnair had three strikeouts and gave up no runs in three innings pitched.
