Sundays for Fantasy

Week 6 lineup for daily fantasy football

Welcome back fantasy football fanatics. After another great week of football, I hope everyone enjoyed their Sunday. Now that week five of the NFL is over, here are my results for last week: I had a total of 147.82 points, plus I placed around 19,500 out of 263,875 in my contest, so I did quite well for myself. I think I can repeat this effort once again this week, so here is my lineup for week six of the NFL season.

Quarterback: Kirk Cousins- Cousins has had a nice year so far, throwing seven touchdowns and a lone interception. He continues to improve and has at least thrown for one touchdown every game. I think he will tear up the 49ers’ secondary, who is all over the place right now on defense.

Running Back 1: Jordan Howard- After a tremendous rookie season, Howard has no signs of slowing down. He runs in between the tackles, but also has that break-away speed. Due to the Bears having a rookie quarterback, he will get a lot of touches this year.

RB 2: Melvin Gordon- I absolutely love this guy; I really don’t know why, but he always puts up consistent numbers. He can score touchdowns from the backfield, but also is utilized in the Chargers’ passing game where he had two touchdown receptions last week and three on the season. The Chargers will look to keep him hot against the Raiders.

Wide Receiver 1: Will Fuller V- Since coming off his shoulder injury, Fuller makes his presence felt. In the two games he played in so far, he racked up six receptions and four touchdowns. I don’t see the Browns’ secondary slowing down the Texans’ high powered offense.

WR: Jaron Brown- He hasn’t put up huge numbers, but he gets targeted a lot by Carson Palmer. Therefore, he is a guy who can get open, but does not catch a ton of touchdown passes; I think he has an upside this week as the Buccaneers come ranked last against WRs.

WR: Mike Evans- I am admittedly very biased towards Evans due to his time at Texas A&M. Anyways, that does not matter because he can flat out play. Such a big and physical wide receiver, he has caught the most first down passes since entering the league and is heavily targeted in the redzone.

Tight End: Kyle Rudolph- Rudolph had a nice week against the Bears, pulling in six receptions for 45 yards. I feel he will continue his success in the passing game in week six.

Flex: Tevin Coleman- When I saw some of the numbers Coleman put up this year, I was surprised. He won’t get the 15 touches on the ground a game like Devonta Freeman, but he makes most of his work in the receiving game. He has 13 catches through four games for the Falcons and has averaged close to 40 yards per game. Miami also allows a lot of passing yards.

Defense/Special Teams: Atlanta Falcons- This was a tough choice, but I think the Falcons can get it done in week six. Miami is coming off a nice win over the Titans, but Atlanta is more experienced and will come in more prepared.
