Hi I’m Jacky, I’m 18 years old and a senior at Plano East. I was born in Dallas, but grew up in Plano, Texas. Living in Plano was really interesting for me because I got to see the city grow from a small town to a large city. My ethnicity is Mexican, Spanish and some Italian, but I’m not sure which generation or side of my family is Italian because I never pay attention when my grandparents talk about our family. Also everybody lived in Mexico, so my Mexican heritage is very strong, but hey I’m a proud Hispanic. As a senior many adults ask me what am I going to study when I go to college. Which kind of scares me, not because I don’t know what I’m going to major (which I do!), but how the question changed to “ What you want to be when you grow up?” to that question. I want to major in Film/ Digital Media and Composition. My dream college is New York University, University of North Texas or Southern Methodist University. When I finish my Masters, I want to be a film director/screenplay writer and a composer.  One of my craziest dreams is to win Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Song and Best Original Score.
