Prakriti Bhardwaj

My name is Prakriti Bhardwaj and I am the co-Editor-in-Chief of the Panther Prints. In my free time, I like to read and write. My favorite type of food is Thai, and my favorite drink is a Strawberry-Banana Smoothie. I love listening to music, but I find myself only listening to the same 20 songs over and over again for the past couple years. I don’t like to watch movies or drive, but do both all the time. I am not sure what I want to do when I grow up, but I would love to be a Journalist or a Business Manager.

Mitchell Willetts

I’m Mitchell Willetts. I was born in Texas and have lived here my whole life. The most important things in my life are family, friends, music, movies, and of course, the news. I always try my best to respect other people and their opinions and I think everyone else should as well. My favorite movie is “Pineapple Express” because it is hilarious and Seth Rogen is the only famous Canadian I like.

Lydiana Cirilo

Born on April 3, 1995, I lived with my grandmother until the age of nine when my overly charismatic mother surprised my small family of four on Christmas eve. They had been in and out of most of my childhood and when I turned nine, I came to Plano to live with my mother.  I went to Fisher Elementary for fourth grade, and Christie Elementary for fifth.  I then went to Carpenter Middle School, Clark High School and now Plano East Senior High School. I have played the violin violin for five years and I have one sister and one brother.  When I graduate I have slight ideas about the college I want to attend.  I like to watch old films, mostly from the 1950′s and 60′s.  I’e never traveled far, though it’s an aspiration of mine when I get older.

Jorge Carillo

I was born in Southern California, not far from terrible neighborhoods filled with low income, rambunctious individuals, or cholos as some prefer to call them.  After my three year tenure as an infant there, my family decided to go back to our exotic, far-away homeland, Mexico.  The two years I spent there I mastered the language of Spanish, although after two years my parents decided it was a little too un-American.  We moved to Texas, where I now reside.  Most of my afternoons are filled with the wonderful world of academics and my evenings occupied with such nerdy endeavors such as reading comic books, listening to different eclectic genres of music, and following technology (read in nerdy voice) or sports (read in Bro voice).

Rene Garcia

I was born on October 9, 1993 and raised in Plano ever since.  I became interested in writing in the sixth grade.  My personality is quiet at first, but as trust starts developing, the more talkative I become.  I have a passion for film making and hope to get a career out of it someday.  I love sandwiches, Dr. Pepper and strawberry/banana smoothies. I hope that being in the newspaper will help increase my skill in writing and help me gain a career out of it.

Ali Sawani

People who don’t know me think I’m shy.  People who do know me wish I was shy.  Yes, I did just use a Facebook “like” page to describe myself but I can’t help it because it rings so true.  You would probably think I suffer from dual-personality disorder if you saw me with a group of my friends.  I am a seventeen year old, not very popular, slightly nerdy Harry Potter and sports loving senior.  If you ask me, I would say I’m a very nice and friendly guy.  Take some time to talk to me and I’m positive we will become the best of friends. That is, of course unless you are of the opinion that Rebecca Black is awesome and Harry Potter sucks, then I’m pretty sure we will not get along very well.
